Victor Osimhen believes he is getting close to opening his goal account for Galatasaray, DAILY POST reports.
Osimhen made his third appearance for the Turkish Super Lig champions in Wednesday night’s UEFA Europa League clash with Greek club, PAOK Salonica.
The Nigeria international failed to hit the target once again although he bagged an assist in the encounter.
It was his third consecutive assist for the Yellow and Reds.
Osimhen is upbeat he will soon start scoring for Okan Buruk’s side.
“Unfortunately, it was an own goal again. I feel it, my goal is very close. The most important thing is for Galatasaray to win,” he told the club’s official website.
“I would also like to thank the fans. We need to continue winning in the league and in Europe.”
