Michael Dewayne Wilkerson is charged with capital murder in the shooting death of 29-year-old Darrell Lynn Tikisha King on S. Post Oak near Beltway 8.
HOUSTON — Houston police have arrested a suspect who they say shot and killed a woman he previously dated earlier this week.
Darrell Lynn Tikisha King, 29, was gunned down on Nov. 12 while working at Ralston Discount Beverages, a liquor store on South Post Oak Road near Beltway 8.

Michael Dewayne Wilkerson, 39, was later arrested and charged with capital murder and tampering with evidence.
When Houston police responded to reports of a shooting at the liquor store around 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, they found King with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD homicide detectives quickly identified Wilkerson as a suspect. They say he had previously dated King.
The Southwest Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team arrested Wilkerson on Wednesday. He remains in the Harris County Jail.
