Manchester United goalkeeper, André Onana, is determined to remain with the Premier League club beyond this summer, despite facing criticism over his performances between the sticks for the Red Devils.
Onana arrived from Inter Milan ahead of the 2023-24 season under Erik ten Hag. Although the Cameroon international struggled during the first half of the campaign, he had bright moments in his debut season and retained the No.1 jersey.
However, his second season at Old Trafford has not been any easier, with several recent errors.
Despite speculation that Onana might seek a move away, the Manchester Evening News reports that the 28-year-old has made staying at the club his priority.
This desire is believed to contrast with head coach Rúben Amorim’s plans, as the Portuguese manager is reportedly looking to sign a new goalkeeper in the upcoming summer transfer window.
