War: Two key US decisions against Ukraine amid Russian bombardment

The United States of America, under President Donald Trump, has made two key decisions against Ukraine in less than 14 days amid the three-year-old war with Russia.

DAILY POST outlined two significant decisions by Trump’s administration.

These are Trump’s administration’s decisions to pause military aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine.

This is the drastic shift of US foreign policy away from pro-Ukraine in the war with Russia.

Recall that the US and Ukraine relationship collapsed on Friday, 28th, 2025, after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Trump at the Oval Office.

It was after the fiery encounter between Trump and Zelenskky that the US suspended its military support to Ukraine.

In a more recent development, Trump confirmed that the US has ended Intel sharing with Ukraine.

These two broad decisions had a broad impact on Ukraine’s defence against Russia’s onslaught.

In the past days, Russia had reinforced bombardment of Ukraine.

Reacting, Trump said anybody would do what his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin is doing to Ukraine.

Earlier on Friday, Trump threatened Russia with tariff sanctions upon its renewed onslaught on Ukraine.
