JAMB begins sales of direct entry forms on March 12

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has announced that the sale of 2025 Direct Entry, DE, application forms will commence on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

The DE registration is intended for candidates with degrees, diplomas, or A-Level certificates seeking admission into universities of their choice.

This follows the conclusion of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, application process, which ended on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

According to JAMB, a total of 2,030,627 candidates registered for the 2025 UTME, alongside 200,115 candidates for the Mock-UTME and 630 applications for the trial mock.

Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communications Advisor, stressed the need for candidates to meet all entry requirements and warned that false declarations will attract severe penalties.

A special committee will verify all submitted A-Level qualifications, and fraudulent documents will lead to prosecution.

The board also urged tertiary institutions to independently verify candidates’ credentials before offering admission.

Registration can only be carried out at JAMB Professional Registration Centres, PRC, nationwide.

Benjamin reaffirmed the board’s commitment to ensuring transparency and integrity throughout the admission process.
