Nigeria’s bandit attack crisis is fuelled by the existence of vast ungoverned trans-border spaces where various non-state armed groups operate unhindered and outside of the law, engaging in various forms of transnational crime
There have been recent bandit attack in Zamfara State, which claimed he lives of three members of he state local security.
Voiceplux gathered that the terrorists attacked the local security operatives in the Jambako district of the Maradun Local Government Area of the state.
According to a resident in that area, Muhammad Jambako, the armed bandits attacked the CPG operatives as they approached Faru community, saying that they also took their firearms and motorcycles.
The attack has created anxiety and worry among the people of the nearby communities in the axis.
The State Police command’s spokesman, ASP Yazid Abubakar, could not be reached at the time of filing this report
