Britain’s Got Talent ‘fix row’ erupts during ‘worst semi final of all time’ | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV


The Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals are officially underway as the first batch of semi-finalists took to the stage to perform their hearts out in the hopes of making it to the final and being crowned ITV champions.

Ant & Dec announced at the end of the episode that opera singer Innocent Masuku and Ssaulabi Dance Troupe had made it to the final, but viewers weren’t best pleased as they accused the show of being “fixed”.

Viewers flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to air their grievances as one unhappy ITV viewer expressed: “#BGT what a fix time to put this show out to pasture.”

Another person fumed: “Innocent can sing, but he can’t act. He knows he’s won, no surprises there…#BGT #BritainsGotTalent.”

Somebody else exclaimed: “Same old s**t with #bgt singers always win the semi-final and he’s a professional wins it. them dogs were amazing.” (sic)

Yet another penned: “The worst Britains Got Talent semi finals of all time. #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.

While a fifth unhappy ITV viewer said: “F**k me, this is the worst semi final in history #bgt.” (sic)

However, not everybody felt the same way as many praised Innocent Masuku’s vocals in particular.

Somebody wrote: “Innocent is by far the best singer I’ve ever seen on #BGT WHAT A VOICE.”

While a second echoed: “Hands down the best Act of the night #InnocentMasuku what a voice #BGT #winner

“That was the best thing all night. #BGT @BGT What sensational vocals,” a third said.

Another batch of semi finalists will take to the stage tomorrow night, with two more going through to Sunday’s final.

Britain’s Got Talent semi finals continue all this week at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
