Talent manager and Tiwa Savage’s estranged husband, Tunji Balogun, also known as Teebillz, has apologised to media personality Toke Makinwa for criticising her comments regarding the divorce saga of 2Baba and Annie Idibia.
Recall that Toke Makinwa was among the first set of celebrities to react to the separation and divorce announcement made by 2Baba on Sunday night, January 26, 2025.
Makinwa had told 2Baba to be prepared to contend with her and others for daring to divorce Annie.
Her comments didn’t sit down well with Teebillz, who issued a stern warning to her to back off people’s family dynamics.
He stated that Makinwa was yet to attain the level of forgiveness and love that other women who have children for their partners.
The post sent shock waves across social media, and many believed it could potentially affect the duo’s relationship, especially as Makinwa is friends with Teebillz’s ex-wife, Tiwa Savage.
In a twist of event, Teebillz took to his Instagram page on Saturday to apologise to Toke Makinwa, admitted that he overreacted.
He explained that he acted out of character because of his love for 2Face and Annie.
He also expressed readiness to privately apologise to the media personality and settle their differences.
Teebillz wrote, “My sincere apologies to TM [Toke Makinwa]. I jumped the gun and goofed. I honestly acted out of character bcos of the unconditional love I have for Annie and King 2. My action was based on expired knowledge and lack of understanding of the current occurrences.
“I hope you spare my ignorance. Hopefully I get the chance to privately apologise to sort our differences. My action was exactly what I accused you of. Hope you forgive my emotional incompetence pls @tokemakinwa.”
