A Magistrate Court in Minna, Niger State, has remanded a 70-year-old man, Sabo Mohammed, for allegedly stabbing a police prosecutor to death.
According to police reports, on 3rd February 2025, Mohammed attacked Inspector Nasir Musa, a police prosecutor attached to the Manigi Magistrate Court, with a sharp knife.
The suspect suspected Musa of enticing his junior wife.

The police said the offense contravenes Section 221 of the Penal Code Law, and is punishable by death.
