The Super Eagles of Nigeria have received a major boost ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda with the return of winger Moses Simon from injury.
Simon missed Nantes 3-1 away defeat to Strasbourg last weekend due to a knee injury.
The 29-year-old has, however, returned to training and is in contention to face Olympic Marseille this weekend.
“Moses Simon is back with us. He had minor knee problems,” Nantes manager, Antoine Kombouaré told a press conference.
The former Levante player bagged an assist in Nigeria’s 1-0 win over the Mediterranean Knights of Libya last month.
The Super Eagles will be away to Benin Republic on Thursday, November 13.
They will entertain Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo four days later.
