AKTH dismisses allegations of misconduct, vows transparent investigation


The Management of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) has denied recent allegations of misconduct levelled against some of its doctors through Berekete Family Arewa.

This was contained in a statement issued by the hospital’s Chief Information Officer, Maryam Aminu Usman on Saturday.

According to the statement, based on the medical facility’s initial findings, the accusation is categorically false.

However, the hospital will investigate further with utmost urgency and in accordance with established procedures.

“The Hospital has a strict code of conduct for all its healthcare professionals and any action that contradicts these Standards will be addressed promptly and transparently,” the statement said.

‘’As such, we are committed to conducting a thorough, impartial investigation into these claims.
