Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of forward Lewis Dobbin from Everton, with the 21-year-old becoming the club’s first arrival of the summer transfer window.
Dobbin has made 15 Premier League appearances, scoring one goal, coming in a 2-0 win for Everton over Chelsea last season.
He was impressive for Derby County while on loan at the League One side during the 2022/23 season, scoring five goals and providing six assists in all competitions.
The young attacker has also represented England at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 levels.
Dobbin joins Unai Emery‘s side after midfielder Tim Iroegbunam completed a move in the other direction on Saturday.
Villa begin the new season on 17 August when they visit West Ham United.
