Football transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, has claimed that no Real Madrid representative will attend the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris tonight after their winger Vinicius Junior was informed he won’t win the individual prize.
In a tweet via his X account on Monday, Romano insisted that it’s Real Madrid’s decision after the organizers of the Ballon d’Or snubbed the Brazilian international.
“Not even one representative of Real Madrid is expected to travel to Paris tonight,” Romano tweeted.
“This is club’s decision after Vinicius Jr was made aware that he will not win the Ballon d’Or, as @FabriceHawkins said.”
Vinicius is expected to compete with Manchester City’s Rodri, Real Madrid stars Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, Antonio Rudiger and Dani Carvajal.
