The body of a missing student from Delta Secondary School, Warri, has been discovered in an uncompleted building with visible injuries.
The incident occurred at Erhirhowevrhe Street, off Ejemudarho, in Okumagba Layout, Warri. Reports suggest that the young girl was allegedly raped and stabbed to death by suspected ritualists or miscreants, who then abandoned her remains at the scene.
It was gathered that the student had attended her school’s inter-house sports competition but went missing before the event concluded. She was reportedly abducted, taken to the uncompleted building, assaulted, and murdered.
Her parents searched for her in vain until her body was eventually found.
Efforts to reach the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, for comments have been unsuccessful, as he is yet to respond to calls or messages.
