Ned Munir Nwoko, Senator Representing Delta North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, has commended Deltans on massive support to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration while congratulating the newly elected Chairmen in the 9 LGAs of Delta North Senatorial District in the just concluded Delta LG Polls held on July 13, 2024 as he wishes them successful inauguration today in Government House, Asaba.
Most Distinguished Senator Representing Delta North Senatorial District in Nigeria’s Senate in a press statement which was made known to some group of Journalists today being Monday, July 15, 2024 in Asaba Delta State capital as Nigeria’s Most vibrant Senator, has Felicitated with the newly elected Councillors and LG Chairmen as inaugurated today who are from Delta North Senatorial District as he tasked them on Inclusivity and grassroots development.
You could recall that on Saturday, July 13, 2024, Delta LG Polls took place in the entire 25 LGAs of Delta State as conducted and results announced by the State electoral body, Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC in all the 25 LGAs in Delta State of which today being Monday, July 15, 2024 the inaugural ceremony will take place in Government House, Asaba.
The People’s Senator, Prince Barr Sen. Ned Munir Nwoko, has congratulated the newly elected Executive Chairmen who emerged as winners under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 9 LGAs of Delta North upon inauguration today in Government House, Asaba. He also Felicitated with the Councillors in Delta North on victory in the just concluded Delta LG Polls.
In the release, Prince Ned Nwoko, has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to had kept his promises on peaceful conducts of the LG Polls void of political interference. Also, that the Governor gave equal level playing ground to all political parties to test their popularity. He also lauded DSIEC, Security agencies and other electoral stakeholders on roles towards a peaceful, free and fair election conducts in just concluded Delta LG Polls.
Ned Nwoko then tasks the winners, newly elected, inaugurated Executive Chairmen & Councillors in the 9 LGAs of Delta North on the need to be magnanimous in victory, promote grassroots development, Inclusivity in governance and ensure that the dividends of democracy gets to citizens in the rural areas as part of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E agenda policy achievements.
