The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed that the Chief Executive Officer of Emy Cargo and Shipping Services Limited Emeka Okonkwo, also known as E-Money, is currently under investigation regarding the alleged acquisition of four hundred and eighty-eight cars.
The Public Relations Officer of the Federal Criminal Investigation Department in Alagbon, Lagos, ASP Aminat Mayegun, confirmed to VP News early Thursday via WhatsApp that an investigation is underway. She stated, “Investigation is still ongoing. He is being investigated by the Anti-Human Trafficking Section.”
However, when questioned about the rationale behind the investigation, she explained, “Someone entrusted him with money to deliver four hundred and eighty-eight cars, but he only delivered four hundred and eighty. Although one vehicle has been recovered, leaving seven vehicles outstanding.”
