A complete guide to England women’s year, including how to watch games live and more
England’s women’s national team will go into 2025 with one big aim – that to defend their European title. There have been some disappointments for the Lionesses lately, with them failing to secure a spot for Great Britain at the Olympic Games in 2024, but they remain one of the best teams on the planet, having reached the 2023 Women’s World Cup final.
Before the 2025 European Championships come around though, England will have a shot at some form of revenge over the team that beat them in that final, with them to face Spain in the next edition of the UEFA Women’s Nations League, which begins in February.
That competition should prepare them nicely for Euro 2025, which will begin on July 2, less than a month after England’s final Nations League group stage game. There’s little time for Sarina Wiegman and her side to rest then, with the big fixtures to come thick and fast.
GOAL has everything you need to know about the Lionesses’ schedule, fixtures and results and how to watch the team.
