EPL: Arsenal should have scored 10 goals against Tottenham – Declan Rice

Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice, has claimed they should have put 10 goals past Tottenham in their Premier League clash on Wednesday night.

The Gunners came from behind to win the North London Derby 2-1 at the Emirates.

It means Mikel Arteta’s men have completed the double over their rivals, after winning 1-0 at the Tottenham Stadium.

Heung-Min Son gave Spurs the lead, before a Dominic Solanke own goal and Leandro Trossard goal turned the game around.

Arsenal also missed several opportunities to score goals after the break.

Rice, speaking to TNT Sports, said: “You can tell that tonight meant more than anything.

“From the first minute, the first half was pure domination.

“We showed the intent, the pressure, the desire, you could tell it was a derby.

“I think we were probably unlucky that we didn’t score 10 tonight. That is the feeling.”
