Alex Iwobi has demanded that Fulham show more consistency to deliver impressive victories like Saturday’s win over Newcastle United.
Fulham inflicted a 3-1 defeat on Newcastle United at the Craven Cottage.
Marco Silva’s side imposed themselves on proceedings from the outset.
The Nigeria international provided the assist for Emile Smith Rowe’s second goal.
Iwobi posited that the Toffees must stick to the impressive display in subsequent games.
“Our performances have been very good – I’d say apart from Ipswich – but getting the results is the most important thing. It was a great performance and a great result,” he told the club’s official website.
“If we remain consistent, we’ll definitely finish better than we did last season. It sends a message to any other team that we can compete with anyone, teams who are going for the top four or the Champions League, that no one can come to our fortress and take any points from us.”
