EPL: Guardiola names Arsenal forward he doesn’t want to play well against Man City

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said he is hoping that Raheem Sterling does not have a good game for Arsenal on Sunday.

The Gunners travel to City who are yet to lose any Premier League fixture this season in a top-of-the-table clash.

Sterling signed for Arsenal on a season-long loan deal on deadline day and is in line to face his former club.

Guardiola said: “For all the players who behaved unbelievably, in this club, who helped us to be who we are and where we are.

“We could not have done the first years of my tenure in our time here without Raheem.

“I would prefer he didn’t play well on Sunday, but I wish him all the best.”
