Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said he is not the right person to advise Ruben Amorim.
Amorim was, on Friday, confirmed as the next Manchester United boss.
The 39-year-old will replace Erik Ten Hag, who was fired on Monday, following a 2-1 defeat at West Ham.
Guardiola was asked about the news, especially as he faces Amorim’ Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League next week.
He replied: “I’m not the right person to give advice to my colleagues.
“United have a lot of people who will tell him the situation in the club. I cannot give him any advice.”
