Fans genuinely can’t believe what Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson did in the opening stages of Scotland’s Euro 2024 opener.
Following a stunning rendition of ‘Flower of Scotland’, the visitors were amped up ahead of taking on tournament hosts Germany.
And in just the fourth minute, Tierney and Robertson found themselves celebrating – but not for a goal.
After winning a goal kick, the Arsenal left-back celebrated as if he scored a goal, with the Liverpool star joining in.

However, minutes later, Scotland went behind as Florian Wirtz opened the scoring before Jamal Musiala doubled Germany’s advantage.
Kai Havertz then added a third from the penalty spot following a VAR review.
Tierney celebrating winning a goal kick didn’t age well as fans on social media ruthlessly mocked his actions.
One X user wrote: “Tierney was celebrating winning a goal kick, 4 mins into the first game of the tournament. 15 mins later his team are blown away.”
A second tweeted: “I did think Scotland were in trouble when Kieran Tierney celebrated winning a goal kick in the 3rd minute.”
A third joked: “At least Tierney got to celebrate winning a goal kick in the 3rd minute.”
A fourth commented: “Kieran Tierney celebrating winning that goal kick in the 3rd minute was cute wasn’t it?”
Another added: “Tierney celebrating winning a goal kick like he scored a winner three minutes in is insane stuff.”
