Five players for your Fantasy team this week

Fantasy football players have one last chance to get some points in the bag before the next international fixtures this week as we head into Gameweek Seven.

Here are five players you should be looking to get into your squad for a busy weekend of Premier League action.

Gabriel, Arsenal (Defender)

No defender has scored more points than Gabriel’s tally of 37 and while the Brazilian, who can be bought for £6.2m, only collected one point in Arsenal’s 4-2 win over Leicester last week, he is still worth sticking with.

He has been involved in three clean sheets this season, claiming his biggest returns when scoring against Tottenham and Manchester City, and it should be a comfortable afternoon on Saturday when the Gunners host winless Southampton, who have scored just three times in their six matches.

Antoine Semenyo, Bournemouth (Midfielder)

Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo scored his third goal of the season in the Cherries’ 3-1 win over the Saints on Monday and still provides some cracking value at £5.7m.

The Ghana international is second behind Erling Haaland in the shots statistics – he has had 28 goes at goal this season – and also had an effort disallowed in a recent 3-0 loss at Liverpool.

Andoni Iraola’s team are likely to be positive as they head to promoted Leicester on Saturday and Semenyo, who is emerging as the south-coast outfit’s star turn, should be at the heart of all that.

Morgan Rogers, Aston Villa (Midfielder)

While Ollie Watkins gets plenty of the plaudits at Aston Villa and Jhon Duran has been a great impact player this term, one star who has really caught the eye is Morgan Rogers.

He has been growing into his role in Unai Emery’s line-up and looks an absolute snip at £5.2m, having posted two assists in the 3-1 win over Wolves and opening his account for the season in Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Ipswich.

Rogers should be licking his lips at the prospect of facing a Manchester United defence that was constantly exposed by Tottenham last week and he should have a significant impact on Sunday’s showdown at Villa Park.

Cole Palmer, Chelsea (Midfielder)

It might take some shifting around to free up £10.7m to buy Cole Palmer, but the Chelsea midfielder seems a must-have after his four goals against Brighton last week.

The former Manchester City man is at the hub of everything the Blues are creating and he has registered at least an assist in four of his last five Premier League outings.

He is not involved in the Blues’ Conference League commitments so should be fresh for Sunday, when once again he can take their game against Nottingham Forest by the scruff of the neck.

Dominic Solanke, Tottenham (Forward)

Dominic Solanke has taken time to settle in at Tottenham but is worth considering as a forward addition at £7.6m.

The former Liverpool and Bournemouth forward got off the mark in the 3-1 win over Brentford on Gameweek Five and was then on hand to complete the job in Spurs’ 3-0 win at Manchester United on Sunday.

He also netted in the Europa League against Qarabag in between and, with Richarlison and Heung-min Son sidelined, is plainly revelling as Ange Postecoglou’s leading man.

He can boost his tally at Brighton.
