Premier League side Fulham are reportedly ready to make a move in the transfer market, targeting two Arsenal players Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe in a combined deal worth £60 million.

Nketiah, who is highly regarded by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, is eager for first-team opportunities which seem increasingly scarce at the Emirates. Despite his potential, Nketiah is expected to seek a transfer before the season kicks off, aiming to secure more regular playing time.

According to SunSport, Fulham have emerged as the frontrunners for Nketiah’s signature, with reports suggesting they are prepared to offer up to £30 million. However, they are likely to face competition from Crystal Palace, Wolves, and Everton. While Everton are considering a year-long loan deal, Arsenal may prefer a permanent transfer to generate funds.

The Gunners have faced criticism for their recent poor track record in player sales, but there is optimism that a bidding war for Nketiah could drive up his price. This influx of cash would be timely as Arsenal are determined to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.

The Slovenian forward had an impressive debut season in the Bundesliga, scoring 18 goals, and is attracting interest from AC Milan, Manchester United, and Chelsea. Arsenal, however, are prepared to meet his £55 million release clause.

In addition to Nketiah, Fulham are also keen on Emile Smith Rowe, identifying the 23-year-old as a key target to bolster their attacking options.

Fulham manager Marco Silva is looking to strengthen his squad, especially with uncertainties surrounding the futures of Willian and Bobby De Cordova-Reid. Smith Rowe, who had a limited role last season due to injuries and strong competition within the Arsenal squad, could be seen as a valuable addition to Fulham’s roster.

The England international made 10 substitute appearances for Arsenal during the just concluded season but struggled with knee and ankle issues. The Gunners are expecting a bid in excess of £60 million for the two players.
