Britain, France, and Germany have stated that Israel must fulfil its international obligations regarding the provision of humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza.
The foreign ministers of the three countries made this statement in a joint declaration on Wednesday.
“We call on the government of Israel to abide by its international obligations to ensure the full, rapid, safe, and unhindered provision of humanitarian assistance to the population in Gaza,” the statement read.
According to the statement, humanitarian aid should never be conditional on a ceasefire or used as a political tool.
The trio urged all parties to uphold the ceasefire.
