Gunmen have reportedly shot the General Overseer of Elyon Paradise Ministry, Pastor Divine Omodia, in Ogwashi-Uku community of Delta State.
The gunmen also abducted six members of the church during a night vigil held on Friday, DAILY POST can report.
Some members of the church, including women and children, sustained injuries during the attack.
The General Overseer, Omodia, was immediately rushed to an undisclosed hospital where he is currently battling with his life.
However, nothing has been heard of the abducted church members since their abduction.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident in a WhatsApp message sent to our correspondent in Warri on Sunday.
