Hajj 2025: Jigawa pilgrims board warns against visa processing delays

The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has warned intending pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj against delays in submitting their passports.

He emphasized that prompt compliance is crucial for smooth visa processing.

Director-General of the board, Ahmad Labbo, issued the warning in a statement by the board’s spokesperson, Habibu Yusuf, following a management meeting in Dutse, the state capital, on Tuesday.

“The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board is fully prepared for the 2025 Hajj visa processing,” Labbo assured.

“However, we strongly advise all intending pilgrims who have not yet submitted their passports to do so immediately to avoid unnecessary delays.”

Labbo stressed that the board has finalized all necessary arrangements to ensure a seamless visa application process.

He also reaffirmed that the grouping of pilgrims will continue as in previous years to enhance efficiency.

“The board will work closely with our Zonal Officers to ensure strict adherence to Saudi regulations,” he added.

He reiterated the board’s commitment to ensuring that all registered pilgrims complete their documentation without any issues.

He urged pilgrims to cooperate fully with the board’s directives.
