On Tuesday, it was reported that Hansi Flick would be jetting into Barcelona, ahead of signing on as the Catalan giants’ next manager, replacing the sacked Xavi Hernandez. The 59-year-old will be unveiled in the coming days, but in the meantime, he is getting used to his new home city.

Sport have released exclusive footage of Flick in a Barcelona restaurant. The German is expected to sign a two-year contract in the next 24 hours, but in the meantime, he appeared to be getting accustomed to life in the Catalan capital.

Flick’s arrival has come around very quickly, with reports having only emerged in the last couple of weeks in regards to Xavi’s impending sacking. He has a huge job on his hands to restore Barcelona to their former glory, and it will be made especially difficult due to the club’s financial woes. However, it’s a challenge that he will surely relish.
