A man was arrested after a standoff.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A man was arrested Saturday night after threatening a victim with a knife in a standoff with Harris County SWAT.
The victim, a woman he is married to, was able to get away. Their three children were also in the home. SWAT later found the man in an upstairs room with the children.
The children were not hurt and the man surrendered peacefully.
The incident happened on Live Oak Green Court, near U.S. 90 in northeast Harris County.
The man was facing charges of aggravated assault of a family member.
