Jadon Sancho's behaviour after being banished to the Man Utd U18s by Erik ten Hag emerges

How Jadon Sancho reacted to training with Manchester United’s youth team has been revealed.

Jadon Sancho’s conduct after being banished from Manchester United’s first-team has been revealed.

Sancho found himself completely exiled by Erik ten Hag in

September after responding to his manager’s statement about his training performance prior to the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal.

He had been left out the squad, with Ten Hag feeling as though he did not produce the required levels in training.

Sancho denied the claims, branding them “completely untrue” and stating that he had “been a scapegoat” in a emphatic statement.

The 24-year-old deleted the post but his refusal to apologise meant he was completely ostracised from the first-team environment.

Instead, he had to train and eat with the academy side and was not allowed to socialise with his usual teammates.

After a period in the cold, Sancho headed back to Borussia Dortmund on loan and has helped the Bundesliga side reach the Champions League final against Real Madrid at Wembley.

He’s been enjoying his football and rediscovered his confidence, but it’s claimed that it was the case when he was mixing with United’s youngsters.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Sancho applied himself well and was a “delight” to work with during the period, as per sources cited by the newspaper.

Contrary to what Ten Hag had said about him in September, he was described as a “top professional” during his time with Adam Lawrence’s Under 18 side.

After starring against PSG in the semi-final first leg, Ten Hag praised Sancho’s performance on the big stage.

He said:”Jadon played very good, he showed why Manchester United bought him and he showed he represents a high value for the club. Which is good.”

Sancho was asked about his future and the possibility of returning to United, commenting that he is “focused on the present right now.”

The former Manchester City academy product still has two years on his United contract.
