Kebbi State governor, Nasir Idris, has approved a reduction in official working hours for civil servants during the holy month of Ramadan.
The announcement was made on Monday in a statement by the Commissioner for Establishment, Pension, and Training, Hon. Awwal Manu Dogondaji.
According to the statement, civil servants in the state will now work from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Fridays. Regular working hours will resume after Ramadan.
Dogondaji called on citizens to remain committed to prayers for lasting peace and stability in Kebbi State and Nigeria.
