Georgian and Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is on the brink of a transfer to French outfit Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The 23-year-old, who has been pivotal for Napoli since his arrival in 2022, wish to leave the club, as confirmed by head coach Antonio Conte.
Kvaratskhelia, who played a significant role in Napoli’s Scudetto victory in the 2022/23 season, has reportedly agreed personal terms with PSG, with the French club ready to quadruple his current salary.
The transfer fee being discussed is around €80 million.
The move comes after a season where Kvaratskhelia contributed significantly to Napoli’s efforts, despite a less successful campaign for the team overall.
In response to this potential departure, Napoli have already begun scouting for replacements.
Manchester United’s young Argentine winger, Alejandro Garnacho, has emerged as the primary target.
Conte has identified Garnacho as the ideal candidate to fill the void left by Kvaratskhelia, appreciating the 20-year-old’s skill set, age, and potential alignment with Napoli’s style.
Reports suggest that Napoli has initiated talks with Manchester United, with a €50 million transfer fee being floated for the promising winger who has had limited playing time under United’s new manager, Ruben Amorim this season.
