Sevilla striker, Jerome Adams is expected to be sidelined for a number of weeks with a thigh injury.
Adams, according to the Rojiblancos, copped the injury in training on Thursday.
The former Nigeria junior international only linked up with Sevilla from Ligue 1 club, Montpellier last month.
The 24-year-old made his debut for Garcia Pimienta’s side in last Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Getafe.
Sevilla are yet to confirm the exact severity of the injury, but recovery for similar injuries typically ranges from 4 to 12 weeks.
The former European champions will be up against Barcelona in a LaLiga clash this weekend.
