Liverpool and Manchester United are hoping to tempt Leny Yoro to the Premier League despite despite heavy interest from Real Madrid, talkSPORT understands.

The 18-year-old currently plays for Ligue 1 outfit Lille and is dubbed as one of the most promising centre-backs in Europe.

Yoro started 30 of their league games last season but could be set for a move this summer as his contract expires next June.

Liverpool and United are interested in a move but they could face stiff competition from one of Spain’s giants.

It’s understood that there is an acceptance among the Premier League giants that Real Madrid could win the race for Yoro.

He was in attendance at Wembley to watch Los Blancos win a record 15th Champions League title against Borussia Dortmund.

There is said to be a belief that he will move to Madrid, although Paris Saint-Germain also hold a strong interest in the teenagers.

Yoro rose through the youth ranks at Lille to make his first-team debut in May 2022 at the age of 16, six months and one day.

He made a further 15 appearances in the 2022/23 campaign before emerging as a consistent starter last season.

The teenager has also represented France at various youth levels, most recently for the U23s in a friendly win against the Ivory Coast.
