Manchester United have reportedly drawn up a three-man striker shortlist ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite uncertainty over the future of United boss Erik ten Hag, the club are eager to make some significant additions to their squad ahead of Sir Jim Ratcliffe‘s first summer in charge.
With the recent departure of striker Anthony Martial, who ended his nine-year spell at Old Trafford last month, the Red Devils are keen to bolster their attack.
And, according to ESPN, they have drawn up three names that they would like to bring to Manchester in the summer.
They include Brentford‘s Ivan Toney, Lille, Jonathan David and Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee.

The Red Devils are keen to bring in a recognised striker to Old Trafford over the summer
Currently, Danish forward Rasmus Hojlund is the only recognised striker in United’s squad but, after his rollercoaster campaign in 2023-24, the club are keen to bring in reinforcements.
Bologna star Zirkzee – who joined from Bayern Munich in August 2022 – was joint-15th on the list of leading scorers in Italy’s Serie A last season.
Zirkzee netted 11 goals in 34 league games to help fire his side to fifth place and a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League .
But Zirkzee – who also provided four Serie A assists – may not still be at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara by the time Bologna embark on their first elite European campaign since 1964.
He is in high demand and has a modest £34 million release clause in his current contract.
Meanwhile, both Toney and David are entering the final years in their respective deals and, thus, could be available for a cut throat price.

The outlet also report that RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko is on their radar however he is set to extend his stay at the German giants.
The 21-year-old had accrued strong interest from both Arsenal and Man United, who looked set to battle it out for his signature.
Ajax’s Brian Brobbey is another name that has caught their attention however the outlet claim their interest stems from ten Hag.
