New Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has got to work at his new club following his appointment as Xavi’s successor.
Flick has jetted into his new home and was at the Ciutat Esportiva on Tuesday to begin preparing for the 2024-25 season.
Barcelona showed off their new coach in deep discussions with sporting director Deco as the duo begin what will hopefully be a good working relationship.
Flick was spotted with Joan Laporta at the weekend as the coach and the club president watched the handball Champions League final between FC Barcelona and Danish side Aalborg in Cologne.
Barcelona have plenty of planning to do for the new campaign, with the club expected to find out this week if they are able to return to the 1-1 rule which would be a good boost with regards potential summer signings.
Flick also has some decisions to make on Barcelona loanees, as the likes of Clement Lenglet, Eric Garcia, Sergino Dest, Ansu Fati, Pablo Torre and Julian Araujo are all due back at the club.
