NPFL: Benue government set up forensic audit panel to probe Lobi Stars’ finances


Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has set up a forensic audit panel to investigate Nigeria Premier Football League side, Lobi Stars finances.

The move was necessitated following complaints of non-payment of salaries by players and officials.

Governor Alia disclosed this when he received the new Technical Adviser of the club , Daniel Amokachi, at the Government House Makurdi.

The forensic audit team will be led by Mr. Sam Chir.

Other members of the team are Mr. Bishop Dzungwe, Assistant Director (audit),Mr. Akpusugh Terungwa,Assistant Director ( audit ) and Dr. Gberindyer Abraham Chia ,(AG).

DAILY POST recalls that the state government recently approved the appointment of a new management board for the club.
