Victor Osimhen opened his scoring account for Galatasaray with a first-half brace in their 3-0 home win against Kasimpasa on Saturday.
The Nigerian striker, who had previously provided two assists in his first two appearances, wasted no time getting on the scoresheet.
Osimhen’s first goal came in the 15th minute, and he celebrated humorously by holding up a Galatasaray shirt with the word “Finally” written on it.
He added a second in the 28th minute before Galatasaray teammate Mauro Icardi made it three.
Despite goals from the Napoli loanee, Kasimpasa came into the second half with renewed energy to share the spoils, ending the match 3-3 at piece.
Osimhen, on loan from Napoli until the end of the season, has been linked with a potential move in the January transfer window.
However, Galatasaray vice president İbrahim Hatipoğlu confirmed earlier this week that the forward will remain at the club.
The 25-year-old has a contract with Napoli that runs until June 2027, with a €75 million release clause. Before joining Galatasaray, Osimhen scored 76 goals in 133 appearances for the Italian side.
