Royal Fathers support Life Lager’s new look in Enugu

The Life Beer Best of Both Worlds Concert was more than just a night of music and celebration; it was a historic moment of cultural significance and tradition as some of the most respected Igbo royal fathers officially endorsed Life Beer, recognizing it as a true symbol of Igbo heritage, resilience, and progress.

During the grand event at Spar Mall, Enugu on Sunday, March 2, 2025, the concert served as the grand introduction of the new Life Beer to consumers, unveiling its bold new identity and refined taste in an atmosphere filled with excitement, culture, and music. From the striking new packaging featuring the rising sun, Niger Bridge, and Isiagu, to the unveiling of its triple-filtered, 3X smoother taste, the event was a full-circle moment that showcased Life Beer’s evolution while staying true to its cultural roots.

At the heart of this transformation is the Obiagu – Our Spirit of Progress campaign, a movement that celebrates resilience, ambition, and the unshakable drive of the Igbo people. The campaign embodies the tenacity and resilience of those who push forward despite challenges, making Life Beer the partner in the journey towards progress.

The royal fathers in attendance praised Life Beer for honoring its deep cultural roots while evolving to meet the aspirations of the modern Igbo consumer. They acknowledged the brand’s role in celebrating entrepreneurial spirit, hard work, and ambition, which are core values that define the Igbo people and lie at the heart of the Obiagu campaign.

Among the esteemed royal fathers present were HRM Igwe Samuel Asadu (Ogadagidi of Edem-Ani, Nsukka), Chairman of the Enugu State Traditional Rulers Council; HRH Igwe J. C. Okolo (Ogwugwu Ebenebe), Igwe Amaeke Ngwo; HRH Igwe Chikwendu Harold C (Ezeoha I of Eke); HM Eze Obidiegwu Onyesoh MFR, EzeNri (Nriewelana II); HRH Igwe Damian Ezeani (Igwe Ugonabo of Neni); HRH Igwe Christopher Okpala (Igwe Ezennebo of Akwaeze), Chairman Anaocha Traditional Rulers Council; HRH Igwe George E. Onoh (Agunechemba II of Nsude); and the Igwe of Ogwofia Owa, represented by Chief Lazarus Ejim, PG of Ogwofia Owa Community.

Their support is a powerful validation of Life Beer’s commitment to preserving and celebrating Igbo identity. As hundreds of attendees raised their glasses to a bolder, smoother Life Beer, the endorsement by the royal fathers further cemented the brand’s status as a representation of ambition, resilience, and unity.

The Obiagu campaign is a salute to those who push forward despite challenges. The new Life Beer reflects this spirit in every way, from its bold new packaging featuring the rising sun (hope), the Niger Bridge (progress), and the Isiagu (strength), to its triple-filtered, 3X smoother taste that delivers a richer, more refined drinking experience.

With the blessing of the custodians of tradition, the embrace of the people, and the excitement of a new generation, Life Beer’s new era has truly begun.
