Saturday’s Premier League Bet Builder tips: Goals the basis for London derby

After contrasting results prior to the international break, Tottenham and West Ham will meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Meanwhile, the late game sees title hopefuls Arsenal head to the south coast to take on 13th-placed Bournemouth.

Tottenham vs West Ham (Saturday, 12:30pm)

Bet 1: Both Teams To Score

Tottenham go into this game having scored more league goals than leaders Liverpool, while at least three goals have been scored in Spurs’ last six matches in all competitions.

There has been an average of three goals per game in West Ham’s opening seven Premier League games and both teams have scored in five of those matches.

It is also worth noting that both teams scored in the two meetings last season, with this fixture ending in a 2-1 away win for the Hammers.

Bet 2: Total Shots on Target – Over 11.5

Ange Postecoglou’s men are second in the Premier League shots stats, with 123, while West Ham are fifth with 110.

So, Spurs are averaging 17.57 shots per game so far, with the Hammers trying their luck on 15.71 occasions per match.

Bet 3: Over 1.5 shots on target – Dominic Solanke

It took Dominic Solanke a little bit of time to settle in at Tottenham after his big-money summer switch from Bournemouth, but the England man has hit form, scoring two goals in his last three league games.

Solanke also scored the opener against West Ham at the London Stadium last season, when the Cherries claimed a 1-1 draw.

Bournemouth v Arsenal (Saturday, 5:30pm)

Bet 1: Arsenal to win

Mikel Arteta’s men remain unbeaten heading to the Vitality Stadium as they prepare to face a Bournemouth team that have lost three of their last four matches.

Arsenal have also enjoyed plenty of success against the Cherries in recent years, having won the last five meetings — including a 4-0 success in this fixture last season.

Bet 2: Kai Havertz to score

Kai Havertz has delivered for Arsenal this season, with the German international scoring in his last four games in all competitions.

The former Chelsea man, who has four league goals to his name, was amongst the scorers in this fixture last season.

Bet 3: Adam Smith to be carded

The Bournemouth defenders will be in for a tough 90 minutes, especially when considering their willingness to throw numbers forward.

That will leave gaps at the back and Adam Smith will have his hands full with whoever Arsenal select on the left. The full-back picked up a yellow in last season’s meeting at the Emirates.
