Napoli have opened a seven-point gap at the top of Serie A, following a 2-0 win at AC Milan on Tuesday night.
Antonio Conte’s men scored both goals in the first half of the match.
Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring within five minutes, before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia sealed victory with a long range effort.
Milan saw Alvaro Morata’s goal chalked off two minutes into the second half after a VAR review for offside, but that was the closest they came among a handful of decent opportunities.
Napoli continue to set the pace in Italy’s top flight with their fifth consecutive league victory, which was also their ninth without defeat.
Milan stay eighth on 14 points.
