– Second-placed Juventus unbeaten and yet to concede a league goal
– Basement boys Monza are still searching for their first win
– Empoli, Fiorentina and Bologna have drawn four of their first six matches

Napoli are the new pacesetters in Serie A, but the powerhouse trio of Juventus, AC Milan and champions Inter Milan are looming large in the top four.

We’ve previewed every game in the Italian top tier over the coming days.

Napoli vs Como (Friday, 5:30pm)

Napoli get an early chance to increase their lead at the top of Serie A to four points in this week’s first fixture in the Italian top-flight.

Antonio Conte’s men have won their last four home outings 3-0, 2-1, 5-0 and 2-0 and have taken 13 points from a possible 15 since an opening-day defeat at Verona.

Score prediction: Napoli 3-1 Como

Verona vs Venezia (Friday, 7:45pm)

Verona’s win over Napoli feels like a distant memory as they have lost four of their subsequent five matches.

Venezia haven’t fared much better, they have four points after six games, while the pair have conceded 21 goals between them already.

Score prediction: Verona 2-2 Venezia

Udinese vs Lecce (Saturday, 2pm)

Back-to-back defeats to Roma and Inter Milan have seen Udinese’s strong start to the season unravel somewhat.

However, opponents Lecce have taken just five points and scored a measly three goals in six league outings to date.

Score prediction: Udinese 2-0 Lecce

Atalanta vs Genoa (Saturday, 5pm)

Atalanta have yet to get going this season and suffered a shock 3-2 defeat to Como in their last home outing.

Genoa are without a win in five league and cup matches, however, and were beaten 4-1 and 2-0 by La Dea last term.

Score prediction: Atalanta 2-1 Genoa

Inter Milan vs Torino (Saturday, 7:45pm)

It has not been plain sailing for Inter Milan in their title defence, but they have won three of their four home outings in all competitions to nil.

Torino relinquished top spot with defeat at home to Lazio last weekend and have failed to score in five of their last six meetings with the champions.

Score prediction: Inter Milan 2-0 Torino

Scotland striker Che Adams has scored in each of his last three appearances for Torino.

Juventus vs Cagliari (Sunday, 11:30am)

Juventus are one of only two sides yet to lose in Serie A this season and, remarkably, they are also yet to concede a goal.

Cagliari would love to be as secure at the back, they have conceded ten goals in six games, while three of their four league goals this season came against Parma last weekend.

Score prediction: Juventus 3-0 Cagliari

Bologna vs Parma (Sunday, 2pm)

Bologna appear to be still adjusting to life after Thiago Motta, although they have lost just once this term.

Parma, meanwhile, have lost three of their last four since a shock 2-1 win over AC Milan and both teams have found the net in all six of their league outings this season.

Score prediction: Bologna 2-2 Parma

Lazio vs Empoli (Sunday, 2pm)

Lazio have been a difficult side to weigh up this season, with a goals for tally of 12 and against of 10 hinting at just why.

Like their hosts, unbeaten Empoli have 10 points after six games, but have scored just five and conceded only two goals this term.

Score prediction: Lazio 1-1 Empoli

Monza vs Roma (Sunday, 5pm)

Monza’s wait for a first league success of the season continues after their 2-0 defeat at Napoli last Sunday.

Roma, meanwhile, have won their last two with both triumphs featuring three goals.

Score prediction: Monza 1-2 Roma

Fiorentina vs AC Milan (Sunday, 7:45pm)

AC Milan have won their last three matches and they begin the seventh round of fixtures as the highest scorers in Serie A with 14 goals.

Fiorentina have drawn four of their first six league games and have been obdurate opposition for the Rossoneri previously.

Score prediction: Fiorentina 1-1 AC Milan
