Manchester United have reportedly contacted three other managers as they consider bringing in a new boss as a replacement for Erik ten Hag.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe held talks with former Chelsea boss Tuchel in Monaco on Tuesday to hear the German’s plans for the club if he were chosen to replace Ten Hag.
It is understood Tuchel is no longer under consideration.
Despite winning the FA Cup last season, Erik ten Hag‘s future as United manager remains uncertain.
United only finished in eighth place in the Premier League, while they failed to progress beyond the group stages in the Champions League.

Kieran McKenna, who previously worked for United, ruled himself out of the running by signing a new contract with newly-promoted Ipswich Town.
As reported by ESPN, United have held talks with Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Frank and Roberto De Zerbi.
Pochettino and De Zerbi are currently without clubs following their departures from Chelsea and Brighton respectively at the end of the season.
Reports have claimed United are reportedly unlikely to appoint Pochettino in the event that ten Hag leaves the club.
Frank – who is under contract with Brentford until 2027 – has seen his stock rise significantly with the Bees.
The Dane has won 114 of his 273 games in charge and several top flight sides have taken an interest in him.
England manager Gareth Southgate has also been linked with the managerial position at Old Trafford.
Southgate is fully focused on England’s Euro 2024 campaign at present but is reportedly United’s ‘priority choice’ to replace Ten Hag.
Man United are expected to conclude their managerial search this week.
Ratcliffe and his Ineos group have been carrying out a review into the position. United’s shock FA Cup final victory over rivals City has complicated the matter and is thought to have boosted Ten Hag’s case to remain in charge.
