UCL: Odegaard speaks on Arsenal facing Real Madrid in quarter-final

Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard, has said it would be “special” to play Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final this season.

Odegaard was speaking to the media after he scored a brace as the Gunners thrashed PSV 7-1 on Tuesday night.

The result all but sealed Arsenal’s place in the next round, where they could face Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 in the first leg of their last-16 clash.

“Would be special to go back there.

“Whoever we get we will be ready. We have to finish our job at home first and then see who we get,” Odegaard said when asked about potentially playing Real Madrid next.

The second legs of both ties will be played next Wednesday.
