Donald Trump has delivered his first speech after being sworn in as the 47th president of the United States of America.
In his speech at the inauguration ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda, Trump vowed to prioritise Americans above all else.
He declared that the era of America’s decline is over and pledged that his administration would act swiftly to restore hope to Americans.
Trump also announced that he would immediately sign executive orders to protect US borders.
“The golden age of America begins right now. From this day, America will flourish,” he said. “I will, very simply, put Americans first,” he added.
