Barcelona striker Vitor Roque appears to have cut his holiday short and returned to training in a bid to impress new manager Hansi Flick and try to find a place in the team for next season.
The Brazilian was spotted driving into the club’s training facilities on Friday morning, with the Catalan press reporting he’s been on holiday for 10 days in Brazil and then decided to return.

Vitor Roque’s had a pretty tricky time at Barcelona since arriving ahead of schedule in the January transfer window. He barely played under Xavi, who was willing to let him leave on loan, and there’s speculation he could be offloaded this summer.
The youngster is one of several players who aren’t yet registered for next season, and it remains to be seen if he is in the new manager’s plans for the season.
Vitor Roque’s early return to training suggests he’s keen to continue and is going to do all he can to force his way into Flick’s plans for the 2024-25 campaign.
