Nigerian celebrities came together to celebrate Children’s Day in a heartwarming video shared by lifestyle influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa.
The video captioned “Say a prayer for all our children all over the world. From all of us, we say, Happy Children’s Day,” featured a star-studded cast singing the 1985 classic “We Are the World,” written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.
The rendition was produced, mixed, and mastered by Ojembe Godwin, with Afrobeats diva Waje coordinating the entire process.
The viral footage showed veteran Nollywood celebrities like Kate Henshaw, Shaffy Bello, Shola Shobowale, Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham and Fathia Balogun.
Also present were Former Guinness world Record holder for marathon cooking, Hilda Baci, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Veekee James, Toke Makinwa, Korede Bello, Chef T, Waje, Praize, BBNaija Bisola, BBNaija Alex, and others performing the iconic song for a group of children gathered in an enclosed space.
Additionally, a Hausa version of the song was delivered by fast-rising singer Ali Jubril Namanjo, a friend of Enioluwa.
