Tinubu departs Lagos for Abuja project unveiling


President Bola Tinubu has left Lagos for Abuja, where he is slated to oversee the inauguration of projects carried out by the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

President Tinubu, departing from the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 11:43 AM, received a send-off from Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and various government officials.

While in Lagos, the President initiated the official commencement of construction for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, a 700-kilometre project aimed at boosting economic growth and development in rural communities.

Additionally, President Tinubu inaugurated the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway, the rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge, and virtually launched the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges nationwide.

In Abuja, the President will oversee the commissioning of various projects, including the southern Parkway from Christian Centre to Ring Road One.
